Bushey Nursery
Our spacious nursery is situated near to Bushey village and backs onto countryside with wonderful views offering the children the chance to learn and play in calm surroundings which have been specifically designed to create a loving and safe environment.
We care for children from 6 months of age in our clean, bright and airy baby room, where we nurture their individual needs and routines. Our two toddler rooms aim to challenge and stretch young minds and enhance the children’s’ emotional, sensory and physical development. As children progress through the nursery we support them to build their independence and develop friendships. Our preschool ensures that they are confident and ready for the transition to big school, with reading readiness, mathematical thinking, as well as understanding the world around them. We pride ourselves on the good, longstanding relationships that we have with local independent, state and faith schools. When the time comes, we are on hand and happy to talk through the process and support you in choosing the right school for your child.

Our Hall
Children love the big nursery hall which is a great space for physical exercise, where they can run around, play games and practise their ball throwing and catching skills. They particularly enjoy joining in with their friends and teachers, playing with the big, brightly coloured parachute.

Our Garden
Bushey children particularly like their garden which offers lots of fun things to do. They say they really like the big sand pit, the climbing wall, the bikes and looking for bugs! Each classroom has it's own outdoor space with age appropriate equipment where the babies and children can access fun learning opportunities in the fresh air, all year round.

Messy Play
Messy play, also known as sensory play is particularly enjoyed by our children at Bushey. They use all their senses to explore lots of different textures and objects. Messy play is great fun and can also help children with physical skills, social skills, language, imagination and self expression.
